Multilinear Maps over the Integers Using Modulus Switching
نویسنده
چکیده
After CLT13 of multilinear map over the integers was broken by Cheon, Han, Lee, Ryu and Stehle using zeroizing attack, a new variant CLT15 of CLT13 was proposed by Coron, Lepoint and Tibouchi by constructing new zero-testing parameter. Very recently, CLT15 was broken independently by Cheon, Lee and Ryu, and Minaud and Fouque using an extension of Cheon et al.’s attack. To immune CLT13 against zeroizing attack, we present a new construction of multilinear map over the integers using switching modulus technique. The security of our construction depends upon new hardness assumption.

New multilinear maps from ideal lattices
Recently, Hu and Jia presented an efficient attack on the GGH13 map. They show that the MPKE and WE based on GGH13 with public tools of encoding are not secure. Currently, an open problem is to fix GGH13 with functionality-preserving. By modifying zero-testing parameter and using switching modulus method, we present a new construction of multilinear map from ideal lattices. Our construction mai...
متن کاملCryptanalysis of the New CLT Multilinear Map over the Integers
Multilinear maps serve as a basis for a wide range of cryptographic applications. The first candidate construction of multilinear maps was proposed by Garg, Gentry, and Halevi in 2013, and soon afterwards, another construction was suggested by Coron, Lepoint, and Tibouchi (CLT13), which works over the integers. However, both of these were found to be insecure in the face of so-called zeroizing ...
متن کاملNew Multilinear Maps Over the Integers
In the last few years, cryptographic multilinear maps have proved their tremendous potential as building blocks for new constructions, in particular the first viable approach to general program obfuscation. After the first candidate construction by Garg, Gentry and Halevi (GGH) based on ideal lattices, a second construction over the integers was described by Coron, Lepoint and Tibouchi (CLT). H...
متن کاملCryptanalysis of the New CLT Multilinear Maps
Multilinear maps have many cryptographic applications. The first candidate construction of multilinear maps was proposed by Garg, Gentry, and Halevi (GGH13) in 2013, and a bit later another candidate was suggested by Coron, Lepoint, and Tibouchi (CLT13) over the integers. However, both of them turned out to be insecure from so-called zeroizing attack (HJ15, CHL15). As a fix of CLT13, Coron, Lep...
متن کاملPractical Multilinear Maps over the Integers
Extending bilinear elliptic curve pairings to multilinear maps is a long-standing open problem. The first plausible construction of such multilinear maps has recently been described by Garg, Gentry and Halevi, based on ideal lattices. In this paper we describe a different construction that works over the integers instead of ideal lattices, similar to the DGHV fully homomorphic encryption scheme...
